Step into a wonderfully vintage Halloween with Leslie! In Happy Haunting Fancy Fold Cards, you’ll create a collection of five dimensional Halloween cards featuring beautiful papers from Graphic 45. Graphic 45 is known for its richly illustrated, vintage-inspired papercrafting designs, making it a perfect fit for these spooky-but-elegant cards.

Haunted houses, moonlit owls, black cats, pumpkins, witches, ghosts, and vintage Halloween imagery come together in a palette of orange, black, cream, purple, and green. Leslie will guide you through creating fancy folds and interactive card structures, then show you how to layer the patterned papers and decorative elements to make each design something special.

If you love Halloween but lean toward vintage and whimsical rather than creepy, this is a fun way to add some new card constructions to your repertoire while creating a set you’ll want to display all October long.

Supplies to Bring

Please bring your basic class kit: craft mat, ruler, favorite adhesives (both wet and dry), scissors, bone folder, paper trimmer, pencil, and tweezers/pick-up tool.

Also bring: paper trimmer and bone folder.

What will I make in Happy Haunting Fancy Fold Cards?
You’ll create five vintage-inspired Halloween cards featuring fancy folds, dimensional elements, layered patterned papers, and Halloween imagery such as pumpkins, owls, black cats, witches, and haunted houses.

What paper will we use?
The cards feature Halloween papers from Graphic 45, a paper-crafting company known for detailed, vintage-inspired designs.

What are fancy fold cards?
Fancy fold cards use creative folds, openings, shapes, or interactive elements that go beyond a traditional folded card base. Leslie will guide you through constructing the different designs.

Do I need experience making fancy fold cards?
No. Leslie will walk you through the construction and assembly of the cards during class.

Class Registration & Cancellation Policy

Please register for classes at least 48 hours in advance to allow our instructors time to prepare class kits.

Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours before the scheduled class. Cancellations made within this timeframe will receive store credit, and the advance notice gives us an opportunity to contact our waitlist or fill your space.

For cancellations made less than 72 hours before class, you may send someone in your place. When possible, a class kit will be prepared for you to pick up instead.
