Get ready for a little Christmas sweetness! Join Leslie to create a festive set of Gingerbread Christmas Paper Piecing Cards filled with adorable gingerbread characters, traditional holiday colors, playful patterns, tags, twine, and plenty of charming details.

In class, you’ll create four handmade Christmas cards, each featuring Leslie’s detailed paper-piecing techniques. You’ll learn how to layer and assemble the individual pieces to bring these sweet gingerbread characters to life, then combine them with patterned papers, dimensional elements, and holiday embellishments to complete each design.

From baking-inspired greetings to peppermint treats and classic Christmas sentiments, these cheerful cards are almost too cute to give away!

Supplies to Bring

Please bring your basic class kit: craft mat, ruler, favorite adhesives (both wet, dry and foam), scissors, bone folder, paper trimmer, pencil, and tweezers/pick-up tool.

Also bring: baby wipes.

What will I make in the Gingerbread Christmas Paper Piecing Cards class?
You’ll create four festive Christmas cards featuring adorable gingerbread characters, patterned papers, holiday sentiments, and dimensional paper-pieced details.

What is paper piecing?
Paper piecing involves cutting and layering individual paper shapes to build a complete image. Leslie will show you how to assemble and layer the pieces to create the finished gingerbread designs.

What supplies do I need?
Bring your basic class kit, including a craft mat, ruler, wet and dry adhesives, scissors, bone folder, paper trimmer, pencil, tweezers or pick-up tool, plus baby wipes.

Where is the class held?
The class is held at Scraps of Love in Peoria, Arizona.

Class Registration & Cancellation Policy

Please register for classes at least 48 hours in advance to allow our instructors time to prepare class kits.

Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours before the scheduled class. Cancellations made within this timeframe will receive store credit, and the advance notice gives us an opportunity to contact our waitlist or fill your space.

For cancellations made less than 72 hours before class, you may send someone in your place. When possible, a class kit will be prepared for you to pick up instead.
