Christmas gets a little Western flair in this festive card class with Leslie! Create five Western-inspired Christmas cards featuring exclusive Scraps of Love papers, rustic plaids, cowboy boots, desert cactus, poinsettias, holiday greenery, and warm Southwest scenes.

In class, Leslie will guide you through creating a variety of fancy fold and dimensional card designs that make these cards just as fun to open as they are to display. You’ll work with layered papers, decorative elements, shaped designs, and beautiful Western Christmas imagery to create cards that are anything but ordinary.

These cards showcase Scraps of Love exclusive paper designs, giving the projects a distinctive Southwest Christmas style you won’t find in a typical holiday card class.

Supplies to Bring

Please bring your basic class kit: craft mat, ruler, favorite adhesives (both wet and dry), scissors, bone folder, paper trimmer, pencil, and tweezers/pick-up tool.

Also bring: dry scissors, bone folder, paper trimmer, and pick-up tool.

Scraps of Love exclusive papers were used to create these cards.

What will I make in the Western Christmas Fancy Fold Cards class?
You’ll create five Western-themed Christmas cards featuring fancy folds, dimensional layers, rustic holiday patterns, cactus, cowboy boots, greenery, and Southwest-inspired Christmas imagery.

What are fancy fold cards?
Fancy fold cards go beyond a traditional folded card base by incorporating special folds, openings, shapes, or dimensional elements. Leslie will guide you through assembling each design during class.

Do I need experience making fancy fold cards?
No. Leslie will walk you through the construction and assembly of each card, so you can learn the techniques as you create.

What supplies should I bring?
Bring your basic class kit with wet and dry adhesives, scissors, craft mat, ruler, bone folder, paper trimmer, pencil, and tweezers or a pick-up tool.

Class Registration & Cancellation Policy

Please register for classes at least 48 hours in advance to allow our instructors time to prepare class kits.

Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours before the scheduled class. Cancellations made within this timeframe will receive store credit, and the advance notice gives us an opportunity to contact our waitlist or fill your space.

For cancellations made less than 72 hours before class, you may send someone in your place. When possible, a class kit will be prepared for you to pick up instead.
