Color with Me Cards with Robyn — $25

Spend a colorful afternoon with Robyn while practicing your colored pencil techniques and turning your finished images into three whimsical handmade cards!

In Color with Me Cards, Robyn will help you build confidence with colored pencils while working with adorable stamped images from Penny Black featuring playful hedgehogs and gift-loving kitties. You’ll practice adding color, blending, shading, and small details before incorporating your colored images into finished card designs.

This is a great class for anyone who wants more practice using colored pencils while learning how to take a colored image from the craft table to a completed card.

Supplies to Bring

Please bring your basic class kit: craft mat, ruler, favorite adhesives (both wet and dry), scissors, bone folder, paper trimmer, pencil, and tweezers/pick-up tool.

Also bring: colored pencil set, 3D foam adhesive, sand eraser, blender pencil, and OLO Markers in YO 2.0, N-G 0, B 1.0, BV 0.0, and BV 2.0.

What will I make in Color with Me Cards?
You’ll create three handmade cards featuring stamped and colored images, including whimsical hedgehogs and cats, while practicing colored pencil techniques.

What will I learn?
Robyn will focus on techniques for coloring stamped images with colored pencils, including blending, shading, adding dimension, and finishing your colored images as cards.

Do I need to bring my own colored pencils?
Yes. Please bring a colored pencil set along with a blender pencil and the other supplies listed above.

Is this class only for experienced colorists?
No. This class is a fun opportunity to practice and improve your coloring skills while Robyn guides you through the techniques used for the sample cards.

Class Registration & Cancellation Policy

Please register for classes at least 48 hours in advance to allow our instructors time to prepare class kits.

Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours before the scheduled class. Cancellations made within this timeframe will receive store credit, and the advance notice gives us an opportunity to contact our waitlist or fill your space.

For cancellations made less than 72 hours before class, you may send someone in your place. When possible, a class kit will be prepared for you to pick up instead. Please note: Technique classes cannot be made into take-home kits.
