April 27 – Intro to Mixed Media (pre-order by 4/24)

Description

Come and learn the basics – various materials you can use, and beginning techniques to apply. You will be making 5 tags and leaving with a “sampler” for reference.

You will need to bring note taking materials, a craft sheet, apron, paper towels, and baby wipes.

It will he helpful to also bring any paint brushes, pattern stencils, paint pens (Posca), small nib permenant pens (Microns), small pattern stamps (red rubber is great) that you have – there will be some available to use also.

Instruction, tags, gesso, paint, matte medium, collage tissue… will be provided.

This class requires the student to be a minimum of 12 years old. Parent or guardian must remain in the classroom with any participant under the age of 15.
